We want to see lives changing, new buildings going up, new people to interact within crowds, heck even some new dialogue would be nice! And he knew that the last world had been eaten entirely, except for its stolen portions, and that when the new kalpa began to form The Greedy Man (who never stayed trapped for long) would begin sticking these stolen portions back on in the craziest of places, and that he himself could never jump again until all was put back right. In The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, all that changed when completing a quest was that your faction hideout was ever so slightly tweaked, and that's about it. In fact, after many looks east, west, south, and north, and seeing only the churning dragon stop around him, Dagon realied that at some point when he was begging with his eyes closed that Alduin had eaten him, mountaintop and all, and he had not heard the big chomp because he had been begging too loud. And it will be this way, my little corner cutter, until you have destroyed all that in the world which you have stolen from earlier kalpas, which is to say probably never at all!"ĭagon (no longer a Leaper Demon King) screamed, "Please no! We have stolen from you so much and crammed it all back on in the craziest of places that it will take forever for me to regain my jumping kind of happiness! Especially if I can only come back to this world through auspicious days long between one and another that also require rituals! I beg you not to do this, O Aka! I beg you one hundred thousand and eight times!"ĭagon did as he said, begging Alduin Time-Eater to reverse his decision one hundred thousand and eight times, and halfway through this number Dagon shut his eyes tight to really mean it and then three-quarters through this number he began to shout his beggings to really, really, really mean it, but when he was done begging Alduin was not near the mountaintop he stood on. "The Greedy Man has already f*cked himself up good, hiding inside something that didn't exist anymore, but you: you I curse right here and right now! I take away your ability to jump and jump and jump and doom you to where you will not be able to leave except for auspicious days long between one and another and even so only through hard, hard work. And hope that it was just a dream… but know that it was not. And not just any dragon, but the Dragon – Alduin, the World-Eater, the dragon who devours both the living and the dead. The dragon is upon me – fire and darkness descending like a thunderbolt. The sound a roar, a challenge in their ancient tongue. Then, finally, realization and horror arrive together. In the manner of dreams, I cannot escape.

I want to leave my high place, to seek shelter. Something I should recognize, but in the dream I cannot place it. It was orange – brilliant orange, the color of hearth and dawn. Then it came again, this time more distinct. In the dream, the sense of foreboding grew, but I could never wake up. It could have been lightning, but there was no thunder. Then came the flash of light – just on the horizon, within the clouds that mark the border between worlds. In the dream, I was standing… someplace high up… a tower, or a mountain. (Probably.) That power simply could not work under any circumstances unless we were to move equestria to aurbis, and even then, as Zervziel said, he would die of diabetes. One thing that comes to mind for me is that wabbajack spam is really effective against him, so sic sheogorath-equivilent discord on Alduin.Īlso note that even though Alduin is the end of the kalper cycle, he can only "Eat the world" at the end of a kalper cycle, not at any other time I don't think. He would be a major challenge for the equestrians, seeing as they have never really dealt with something as powerful as him before, but he can be brought down by bruteforce as we have seen, and although he wasn't permakilled in skyrim, (The dovahkiin did not absorb his soul.) he was certainly delayed for a while. I know Alduin has a lot of statementforce to back him up, but in terms of feats, in Skyrim he is just a really really strong dragon, he went down like any other dragon with enough firepower.
